Hi-Temp Grain Bumper Plates are our most popular bumper plates for CrossFit boxes. The grain bumpers have Olympic colour coded flecks and look superb in any gym. The bumpers are 450mm diameter and they are tolerance tested to under 2% of displayed weight. The lower durometer achieved from using grain rubber allows the bumper to have a higher bounce and the plates to be repeatedly dropped from overhead, whilst protecting the Olympic bar and flooring.
The Hi-Temp Grain Bumper plates have a smooth, brushed-steel centre with rounded edges, which allow the discs to easily slide on and off the Olympic bars without damaging the sleeves. To further protect the bars, the steel centres are enclosed so they do not touch when loaded together, this also protects the integrity of the discs, even when dropped. The grain rubber is completely odourless and has been thoroughly drop-tested for durability.
The discs come in a weight range of: 5kg, 10kg, 15kg, 20kg, 25kg.
The Hi-Temp Grain Bumper Plates can be used with any Olympic bar.
As the discs are of an oversized thickness, we recommend extremely heavy load users buy our Urethane Coloured Bumpers to allow maximum loads to be applied to the bar. The 5-25kg Hi-Temp Grain bumper discs have a full 1-year commercial warranty.
